MTN Joyous Celebration Falls Prey to Fake News

MTN Joyous Celebration founders would like to confirm the report by various sites claiming that the group’s bus was involved in an accident are false.

“It is disheartening to have to read about such false news, especially at a time like this when we have been praying for our land to receive healing. We are just concluding our 21st national tour praying with communities to call on God our Almighty to heal our land. In this same token, we continue calling on all South Africans to pray without ceasing, this is one of the ailments that need divine intervention. The distasteful news has disturbed a lot of loyal MTN Joyous Celebration fans and supporters, who have been calling our offices hours on end to confirm this report,” says Pastor Jabu Hlongwane.

“We wish to assure our fans that all our members are in good health, and we are gearing up to serenade the Essence Festival Durban patrons on Sunday, 1 October with Bishop TD Jakes and Kimberley in November. We are also hard at work, preparing for Joyous 22 and all we can say about this is “watch this space’,” added Lindelani Mkhize.
