MTN Joyous Celebration records their 22nd instalment
25 October 2017
MTN Joyous Celebration is doing it again, pushing boundaries and giving their fans new experiences. The recording of the 22nd album is set to take place under an open heavens/sky at Maropeng Cradle of Mankind, the only World Heritage Site under the stars northwest of
Johannesburg, on the 9th of December 2017.
Following the ground breaking 21st album entitled “Heal our Land” recorded in Dallas Texas in collaboration with Bishop TD Jakes’ Potter’s House Choir last year, Joyous is chartering a new territory in the Gospel music recording space.
We have entitled the Joyous 22 recording “All for You” to celebrate and pay tribute to all the thousands of people on and off the Joyous stage who make up the rich and extended tapestry of the Joyous Family.
“We really give honor and praise to God for all that He has done for us collectively,” says founder Jabu Hlongwane.
The venue provides many unique activities for the whole family. These include lifestyle market, discounted tour of Maropeng and lots on offer prior to the start of the show. We encourage people to come early and take advantage of everything that the venue offers and then top it off with the Joyous 22 recording.
Our fans have walked with us through the past 21 years and they mean a lot to us”.
“We are honoured and truly blessed to be where we are. God has done tremendous things for us and “Joyous 22 – All for You” is a celebration of the accomplishments we have achieved thus far and the support we have enjoyed from our fans in the past 21 years,” says Lindelani Mkhize, founder of Joyous Celebration.
“MTN Joyous Celebration continues to blaze the trail in South African music and the upcoming Joyous 22 recording at the iconic Maropeng Cradle of Humankind is sure to leave an indelible mark in the local music landscape. The theme “All for You” perfectly encompasses what this award winning ensemble is about and we, together with our customers are excited to be part of this new chapter of MTN Joyous Celebration” added Mapula Bodibe, Consumer Business Executive at MTN SA.
Patrons are advised to bring their camp chairs, blankets and cushions (but no picnic baskets, food or umbrellas) for this historic experience.
Gates will open at 11H00 and the recording starts at 18h00 sharp.
Fans can purchase live recording tickets at Computicket ranging from R220 for adults with a discount for children under 12 years.
